Hello All!

I arrived safely yesterday midmorning and we were taken to our hotel. From the hotel we were given a few hours until we met with our group and had dinner. I chose to use that time to go find a piece of Baklava and begin my week long love affair with Greek food. (Hey Dcn Pam - Hummus is not Greek! It is middle eastern - so no hummus for me!!! ) I walked out of my hotel turned right and almost immediately stumbled onto a pastry shop! Hey All! THERE IS NO CONFIRMATION CLASS THIS TUESDAY!  

We are working on rearranging the calendar. I will let you know when we will resume classes (most likely class will start in the end of January or beginning of February). We will be hosting a church wide Sunday Brunch on January 28th.

This is a fundraising event. In order to receive a part of the monies raised you have to RSVP and participate in the whole event.

We will begin cooking at 8:00am and will begin serving breakfast at 9:45 and finish serving at 11:15. Clean up should be completed by 11:45.

Sign up is required.

There will be no SR EYC meeting on January 21st so that we can all attend the Annual Parish Meeting. Come be a part of this important parish wide meeting. If you don’t know what is going on at Epiphany, or you want to have a say on the direction the church is taking - you have to participate in the business of the church. So come participant in the annual business meeting of the Church of the Epiphany.

The Dinner starts at 5:00pm with the meeting following!

After a night at the ball, join us for a day of service.

We will gather in the youth room at 12:30pm. Please bring your lunch or have eatten before you arrive.

We will return to the youth room at 4:30pm.

ONCE UPON A TIME

WHO: 9 -12th graders

When: Saturday, January 20, 2007

Time: 6:00pm - 12:o0am

Where: St. Matthew’s Cathedral, but we will meet at Epiphany and go together.

Cost: $25.00 per person (includes a meal) and a bundle of socks for the homeless!

Dress: Semi-Formal or costume (the theme of the event is Once Upon a Time)
